Increasingly scarce is temporary housing for families and/or friends who are the primary caregivers to catastrophically or terminally ill children and adults who are undergoing life saving medical treatment away from home. Health insurance benefits are becoming increasingly parsimonious about what they will underwrite. Consequently, many families are faced not only with the burgeoning medical costs, but now the additional cost they must incur temporarily moving to a residence nearby the facility where their child, family member or friend is undergoing treatment. Like they say, find a need and fill it. The need for housing is urgent and our goal is to provide these families with the temporary housing they need, now. Apartments that will enable caregivers to briefly escape the battleground their loved ones are confined while fighting for their lives. Providing caregivers a place to quietly reflect and rejuvenate themselves physically and emotionally. Thus, we are constantly working to acquire one and two bedroom units that are usually within walking distance of beautiful gardens, woodland paths, as well as still being conveniently close to shopping centers that can fulfill almost every need. Therefore, if you would like to help us in this this particular endeavor, please feel free to send you tax-deductible contribution to our office remembering always, even a dollar brings us that much closer to our next acquisition of a respite house. Most importantly, remembering to help because you can. And, one day you may in fact really be helping yourself because one of these units may be there to meet the needs of your own family. What goes around usually does come around ....
When the residences are not being used by families, these units will then be available to rent on a weekly basis. The fees generated from these rentals will also be used to further underwrite our work. So for rates and locations, please feel free to contact our office at admin@charmedincca.com for further information and availability.
